TGH Senior Center’s Medicare 101 Seminars represent another initiative where TGMG and TGH Senior Centers collaborate to provide reliable education and support to assist you in navigating your healthcare journey. Tampa General Hospital understands that as your health needs change, your care should evolve too. That’s why we partnered with Greenbrook Medical, a trusted name in senior care since 1991, to create the TGH Senior Center—a doctor’s office designed exclusively for adults aged 65 and older.
From longer doctor visits (with your same doctor, everytime) and senior-focused care plans to same-day specialist referrals and 24/7 access to your care team, everything we do is tailored to help you live your healthiest life.
With convenient locations across the Tampa Bay area and a warm, attentive care team, the TGH Senior Center is available to help you navigate your care journey with confidence.
We welcome anyone who wants to better understand Medicare options, enrollment timelines, and how to avoid penalties.
Enrollment is open the three months before and after your birth month, so you have a seven-month window to register. If this applies to you or a loved one, this seminar is for you!
For example, if you birthday is in February, you can enroll from November 1st to May 31st.
We welcome anyone who wants to better understand Medicare options, enrollment timelines, and how to avoid penalties.
Each seminar is hosted by TGH Senior Center in partnership with a licensed, trusted insurance agent who specializes in guiding adults through Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with information on local plan options.
You’re eligible to enroll in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period, which begins three months before your 65th birthday, includes your birthday month, and continues for three months after.
Missing this window can result in permanent penalties—so this seminar is perfectly timed to help you plan ahead, avoid those penalties, and make informed choices.
